Josh Whipday has been with the PDRL team since the start of PDRL: “By playing PDRL, I get to fulfil a lifelong ambition. I watched my older brother (pictured) play from a young age and always wanted to but couldn’t because of my cerebral palsy; PDRL has allowed me to fulfil that ambition.” “As my brother had always played, my family followed rugby league for as long as I can remember so when I got the opportunity to play full contact PDRL, it was a no brainer for me!” I have been playing PD since the first ever game. I love playing for Warrington Wolves. The Warrington Wolves Club and Foundation changes lives and I love playing for them. The fans are amazing! One of the most surreal moments for me has been parading our trophies around the Halliwell Jones Stadium and looking out at every single fan giving us a standing ovation after the 2021 Grand Final win. It was absolutely class!”
